The University of Reading is seeking to appoint an Examinations Administrator (Systems), based within the Examinations and Graduation Office. The role is to be initially recruited on a fixed-term and part time basis (0.6 FTE 22 hrs/week), with the opportunity for the role to become full time and permanent from April 2026 onwards.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated person who will contribute to the effective operation of the Examinations and Graduation Team’s activities, through the provision of high quality administrative support of exam and assessment-related data. You will support the management of exam and results processing activities, with a particular focus on updating and maintaining the University’s student records system. You will provide support throughout the year to a wide range of colleagues on the various assessment protocols, policies and procedures of the University.

* The ability to work with large and complex databases including the maintenance of data
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively on your own initiative and to tight deadlines.
* Excellent and sensitive communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
