Arts Producer (Gaelic Arts)
Glasgow Life is seeking an Arts Producer (Gaelic Arts) for a part‑time temporary contract until 31 March 2029. The role will be part of a dedicated team supporting the Creative Communities programme, with a specific focus on overseeing the Gaelic Arts programme and delivering the Gaelic Arts Plan 2025–29.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the Gaelic Arts programme and successfully deliver the Gaelic Arts Plan 2025–29.
Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of the arts and community sectors in Glasgow and Scotland
* Good communication skills and an understanding of how to deal with internal and external stakeholders in an occasionally complex working environment
* Strong project management skills with an ability to efficiently prioritise work to set and meet targets and deadlines
* Fluent spoken and written Gaelic
* Strong working knowledge of the wider Gaelic cultural scene in Glasgow and across Scotland
* Ability to work within and manage delegated budgets
* Strong IT competencies with a thorough working knowledge of key software packages
Work arrangements
This role is 17.5 hours per week, with core hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and some weekend and evening work expected. City‑wide contracts mean flexible working across locations. Hybrid working is being piloted; the line manager will agree the days with you.
Compensation
£37,541.80 – £43,591.01
