Production Manager
Lead Our Production Team and Drive Quality
At Ryburne Windows, we manufacture and install high-quality windows, doors, and conservatories across Yorkshire. Our reputation is built on exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and reliable delivery.
We're now looking for a hands-on, organised, and ambitious Production Manager to take ownership of our production department and ensure it runs smoothly, efficiently, and ahead of schedule.
This is a permanent, full-time role where your contribution will directly influence our ability to deliver top-quality products and support our next phase of growth.
The Role
As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for:
* Planning and scheduling production to ensure we stay at least 4 weeks ahead of installs.
* Leading, managing, and motivating a team of 4 skilled fabricators in our Halifax production facility.
* Driving performance, efficiency, and output while maintaining exceptional product quality.
* Overseeing the full manufacturing process — fabricating windows, doors, and conservatories from raw uPVC profile using proven techniques, dependable machinery, and the expertise of a skilled production team.
* Managing and updating internal systems to ensure the wider team always has accurate, real-time information on production schedules, outputs, and priorities. (Full training will be provided on all systems.)
* Working with the team to ensure stock control and materials ordering are fully managed and nothing gets missed.
* Ensuring H&S compliance and maintaining a safe, efficient working environment.
* Reporting weekly KPIs directly to the Managing Director, providing visibility on lead times, quality, and overall performance.
* Driving continuous improvement — finding opportunities to streamline processes, increase output, reduce waste, and optimise scheduling so production runs more effectively.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced — ideally from a window, door, conservatory, or fabrication manufacturing background.
* Strong digital skills — able to manage, update, and use internal systems accurately and efficiently to support production planning and reporting. (Full training will be provided on our systems.)
* Hands-on and practical — comfortable working closely with a production team and familiar with fabrication techniques.
* Organised and process-driven — able to plan workloads effectively, embed efficient workflows, and manage priorities with clarity.
* Quality-focused — with a strong eye for detail and a passion for producing top-quality products.
* People-focused — able to lead, motivate, and support a small production team while working closely with senior management.
* Proactive and improvement-minded — confident in identifying bottlenecks and implementing smarter ways of working to improve performance.
* Ambitious — ready to make an impact and grow with the business as opportunities develop.
Why Join Us?
* Competitive package — £30k–£35k depending on experience + performance-related bonus (OTE up to £40k).
* Bonus tied to success — achievable targets linked to:

* Trusted techniques, skilled craftsmanship — our products are well-regarded for their quality, built through proven methods and attention to detail.
* Full training provided — we'll give you everything you need to get up to speed on our systems and processes.
* Supportive leadership — work closely with the Managing Director and be part of a collaborative senior team.
* Career progression — as we continue to grow, there are opportunities to shape the production department further and develop into a broader operational leadership role.
