Location: Braintree, Essex
Salary:£30,000 FTE (£17,000–£18,000 actual) + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Braintree, Essex. Offering a salary of £30,000 FTE and excellent company benefits, this office-based role is ideal for someone seeking a friendly and professional working environment from Monday to Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Manage both purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
* Process invoices and payments, maintaining attention to detail and timeliness.
* Reconcile bank statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
* Support month-end and year-end financial procedures in collaboration with the wider finance team.
* Maintain organised financial documentation and provide administrative assistance as required.


What Experience is Required

* Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role is desirable.
* Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


Salary & Benefits

* £30,000 FTE (£17,000–£18,000 actual) depending on experience.
* 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:30am–2:30pm).

Location

Based in Braintree, this role is easily commutable from Chelmsford, Witham, Great Dunmow, Halstead, Coggeshall, and Colchester.
