About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Security Controller Workforce Planner to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our Head Office in Ipswich.
SHIFT PATTERN – 4 ON 4 OFF VARIABLE DAYS AND NIGHTS INCL. WEEKENDS
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
* Workforce Planning – Shift allocation; Staff attendance monitoring; Sourcing and coordinating cover for vacant shifts and in the case of absence or sickness.
* Staff Welfare – Conduct regular checks on lone workers in the field.
* CCTV Monitoring – Observing cameras from across our national sites for intruder detection purposes.
* Incident Reporting – Liaising with clients regarding on‑site incidents, following escalation processes and securing procedures, as necessary.
* Data Management – Collating and processing staffing data, as required.
About You
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
* A proven track record in workforce planning or recruitment is highly desirable.
* Experience working within the Security industry would be highly advantageous – the experience of working in a control room environment would be of particular interest.
* Agile and effective in responding quickly to situations.
* Attention to detail, and the ability to work strategically and think one step ahead will be essential.
* Highly organised, efficient, and able to multi-task; candidates who are adaptable and results‑orientated are most likely to thrive in this role.
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word & Excel.
