£35,000 + Training & Development + Progression + Holiday + Pension
Flexible days (5/7 - to include weekends)

Excellent Opportunity for a an Assistant Harvest or Assistnat Production Manager / Supervisor from a food or fresh produce background to join an industry leading company in an interesting company in a varied and challenging role.

In this role you will be using your leadership, planning & people skills to Support the Harvest Manager to ensure harvesting runs as efficiently & smoothly as possible.
Duties will include ensuring the desired pick rates for the efficient harvesting of the crops, managing the planning and organisation of 100 staff, training and H&S & food safety for the houses. The ideal candidate will be from a Harvest or Food Production background with experience managing large teams (100+). You will be a great communicator and competent in leading teams from the front to produce exceptional results.
There is excellent industry specific training so managerial level candidates from fresh produce / food production backgrounds alongside Harvesting are encouraged to apply.

The Person:
*Previous Supervisory / Management experience within a fresh produce / production environment (harvesting, Technical, fresh product management )
*Analytical with the ability to champion industry best practices, a food safety culture and ensuring legislation and company policies are adhered to
* A strong, target driven leader with great planning communication skills who is passionate about driving teams forward through company growth and able to motivate workforce through efficient harvesting activities
