Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker in Hartfield!
We are currently recruiting a Support Worker with experience in complex care to assist our young client in attending school in Hartfield.
We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive, paid clinical training to ensure you are equipped to meet our client’s needs confidently.
Our experienced team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors will offer continuous support and guidance as you grow in your role.
The client:
Your responsibilities will include supporting our 4-year-old client with clinical interventions throughout the day, including tracheostomy care, assisting with ventilation, setting up PEG feeds, and administering medication.
The ideal candidate has previous experience working with children and is comfortable supporting young clients in an educational setting.
Please note that tracheostomy experience is a must for this role.
Shift Pattern:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.
* Type: Days
* Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 15:30
* Type: Waking Night
* Hours: Friday 19:00 – 07:00
Additional shifts are available in the local area for those with flexible availability and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities
* Closely observe and monitor the client for any clinical intervention required.
* Be fun, friendly, and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
* Advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
* Follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care.
* Assist with educational needs throughout the day.
Requirements
* At least 6 months paid UK-based care experience.
* Previous experience working with complex care clients, including those with a tracheostomy.
* Flexibility to offer availability at short notice.
* A full UK driver’s license with access to your own vehicle.
* Confidence working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging.
* Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts.
* Blue light card – we’ll pay for it.
