Sub-Agent – Structures (Preconstruction)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sub-Agent with structures experience to join a major infrastructure project, based out of the contractors office in Glasow. This role will play a key part in the preconstruction phase of a significant bridge project, supporting the planning and development work ahead of a scheduled site start in late 2027.
Working with an established delivery team, you will help shape the early stages of the project, coordinating technical activities, developing construction methodologies and engaging with stakeholders to ensure the project is ready for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the preconstruction planning of a large bridge structure (circa 90m span)
* Liaise with stakeholders on planning and project development matters
* Coordinate and manage ground investigation (GI) works and ecology surveys
* Assist with the development of construction methodologies
* Engage with the supply chain during early project stages
* Support planning and readiness for future site delivery
* Attend periodic site visits as the project progresses
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Sub-Agent on civil engineering or structures projects
* Strong understanding of bridge or structural works
* Experience supporting preconstruction activities on infrastructure projects
* CSCS card and SMSTS certification
* Strong communication and coordination skills when working with stakeholders and supply chain
Desirable
* Temporary Works Coordinator experience or training
