Position Overview
MBDA is seeking a dedicated Lead Architect for the Mission Planning & Control products within the FC/ASW TP15 project, a critical weapon system supporting cruise and anti-ship capabilities. The role involves generating architectural artefacts, guiding other architects, and maximizing modularity and re-use across multiple product offerings.
Location & Salary
Location: Stevenage, with a hybrid working model (3-5 days on-site). Salary: Circa £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop architectural artefacts for TP15 Mission Planning & Control
* Collaborate across teams to ensure design quality and modularity
* Guide and influence architectural decisions and practices
Candidate Requirements
* Strong background in complex systems architecture, MBSE experience
* Understanding of architectural principles in product line environments (advantageous)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Proven leadership and ability to autonomously lead work packages
* Rapid learner with the ability to grasp complex problems
* Proficiency with Rhapsody, SysML, IBM Engineering Workflow Management, and ideally DOORS Next Generation
