We are currently recruiting Full-Time Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people in their learning, development and wellbeing. Roles are available in both mainstream and SEND settings, supporting pupils either in class or on a one-to-one basis.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour and engagement, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with their learning and development
* Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Provide additional support to pupils with SEN where required
* Prepare resources and support classroom organisation
* Safeguard pupils in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate
* Passionate about education and working with children
* Patient, reliable and adaptable
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
* Previous school or SEN experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
