The Decision Support team within Bristow is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Analytics and supporting Strategic Planning and Decision Making. The Financial Analyst - Decision Support EAMEA provides these roles for Bristow’s operations with a focus on supporting the European business units (including UK Offshore Energy and Norway Offshore Energy operations). This position partners with the Commercial, Operational and Fleet leads for these areas in supporting their business while providing a consistent global view of analysis with the other Bristow regions. This position supports the annual budget and interim forecasts in coordination with the business owners.This position also supports responses to customer tenders and pricing decisions through development and execution of bid models.Financial Analyst - Decision Support EAMEA will also perform ad hoc analysis to support the Commercial and Operational leads as they drive efficiencies, revenue enhancements and cost reductions in their businesses.Key clients include Commercial, Operations, Fleet, Finance, Tax, Treasury, IT and Safety.
The position reports directly to the Director, Decision Support EAMEA.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support the Regional DS Director and Regional DS Managers in preparation of the annual budget and interim forecast updates in coordination with the Commercial, Operational, Fleet & Finance leads
* Support Commercial activities on bid tender responses and other pricing decisions through preparation of Bid Models and other analysis on a consistent basis with other regions and in accordance with guidance provided by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) this will include being heavily involved with some of Bristow’s largest operations – UK OES and Norway which include annual revenues of c. $375m per annum.
* Assist the DS team in the development of a new bid model to allow for improved analysis & flexibility between bid activities. This will be a core deliverable for 2024, with exposure to global stakeholders.
* Provide analysis of monthly operating results for the region in accordance with guidelines provided by the Decision Support lead in order to facilitate consolidated management reporting
* Develop relationships with the Commercial, Operational, Fleet and Finance leads to become a trusted business partner for those functions with a focus on UK OES and Norway Operations.
* Work with other members of the Decision Support team on ad hoc projects and analysis that may be requested from time-to-time by the ELT or the Decision Support lead.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
Experience
* Experience of working in an Accounting, Finance or related field
* Experienced candidate capable working across various business lines and developing effective partnering relationships
* Knowledge of aviation or other oil & gas related services preferred
* Self-driven with the ability to work effectively on their own or as part of a team collaboration
Skills
* Excellent Presentation Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT; experience with SAP and OneStream helpful
* Detail conscious
* Results orientated and continuous improvement mindset
* Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels including with leadership and management
* Highly organized with the ability to organize own workload
