Balfor Recruitment Group is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary schools across Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils from Nursery through to Year 6 in welcoming, supportive and high-achieving schools.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, as well as supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Each Teaching Assistant role may vary depending on the needs of the school and your experience. Flexible opportunities are available including daily, part-time, full-time and long-term positions.
Successful Teaching Assistants can earn between £90 and £100 per day, depending on experience and the type of role.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning, assisting the class teacher within a recourse base, and helping pupils reach their full potential. A Teaching Assistant may also provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they receive the encouragement and guidance needed to succeed.
Schools are looking for a reliable, patient, and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children and supporting their educational development.

Requirements
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you should:
10. Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, or supporting children in a UK educational setting
11. Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
12. Have the right to work in the UK
13. Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
14. Be willing to provide personal care where required
15. Be available to work 8:30am – 4:00pm
