We're currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the catering team at a school in Maidstone. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly environment with consistent school hours and term-time scheduling.
📍 Location: Maidstone
💷 Pay: £12.21 per hour
🕒 Hours: School hours (typically Monday to Friday, term-time only)
📄 DBS Check: Required (must be current or willing to obtain)
Key responsibilities:
* Washing up and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment
* Assisting with basic food prep and kitchen duties
* Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic
* Supporting the catering team with daily operations
* Following health and safety procedures
What we're looking for:
* A strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
* Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
* A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a check
