Overview
Role involves coordinating with Section teams on planning and producing sketches and methodologies for mobilising, setting up work sites with the General Foreman/Works Manager, and working with subcontractors to ensure timely preparation and implementation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, and Consents. Responsibilities include day-to-day site coordination and planning to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently, implementing Permit to Dig, Temporary Works, and other safety systems, and liaising with the Section Foreman to ensure safe methods of work.
All temporary works needs should be identified early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures. Ensure quality checks are carried out in line with ITPs and properly recorded. Manage non-conformance reporting and resolution on site. Provide support and information to other teams as necessary (e.g., Community Relations, Highways, Logistics).

* Understand the scope of works and identify changes
* Promote pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement, drive innovation, adopt best practice, standard processes and procedures
* Ad hoc duties as required; be a welcomed member of the wider team with opportunities to take on additional responsibility and participate in networks and community-related activities
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in civil / Environmental engineering or similar
* Prior experience in Civil engineering / Infrastructure projects
* Relevant CSCS Card
* Demonstrated in your application and pre-interview that you meet the minimum job criteria and person specification for the role
Notes
The role will work on the HS2 project with HS2 being the UK\'s new high-speed rail network and a catalyst for economic growth. The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) role includes work on the HS2 London Tunnels Contract, covering twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and site compounds.
