Staff Nurse Nursing - Gilmerton Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: 21.74 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 33.75 Staff Nurse – Gilmerton Care Home £21.74 per hour Contracted to 33.75 hours per week Day shifts Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) About the Role As a Staff Nurse, you will deliver high quality, person-centred care, supporting residents’ well-being across residential, nursing, dementia, and respite services. You will work closely with the nursing and care teams to provide clinical care, administer medications, complete care planning, and ensure a safe and compassionate environment for everyone in the home. Your role goes beyond clinical duties. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, support colleagues, and help maintain the highest standards of care and dignity throughout the home. What We Are Looking For You are a qualified Registered Nurse, either Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, with an active NMC registration. Experience in care home nursing is desirable, but a commitment to compassionate care is essential. You are confident in delivering clinical care and making nursing decisions. You have strong communication and teamwork skills and are passionate about improving the lives of residents and supporting colleagues.
