Salary: £44,000 – £48,000

About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing construction business to recruit an Electrical Project Coordinator.
Based in Peterborough, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded company delivering electrical solutions across major projects, including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities.
You will play a key role in coordinating both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend project start-up meetings and review all project specifications
* Coordinate labour and resources across multiple live sites
* Produce and submit regular progress reports
* Monitor project budgets and oversee purchasing activities
* Track overall project progress and performance
* Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with programme requirements
* Attend site meetings where required
* Assist with the preparation and submission of quotations for new works
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role
* Strong background within the electrical sector
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Experience supervising and coordinating site teams
* High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Resilient and able to manage changing project demands
Desirable
* Knowledge of plumbing, particularly in relation to temporary works
