As a Projects Engineer, you’ll take ownership of diverse and challenging projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. From procuring equipment and subcontracted works to building strong client relationships and supporting sales with technical expertise, you’ll play a key role in driving project success.

Responsibilities:
* Providing technical advice to sales teams, customers, and stakeholders
* Procuring equipment and subcontracted works for controlled projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and problem-solving
* Managing high volumes of calls with suppliers, sales, and stakeholders to keep projects on track
* Explaining complex technical activities in a way non-technical stakeholders can understand
* Attending site visits for costings, quotes, and design finalisation
* Producing detailed project plans, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating subcontractors
* Overseeing installations and commissioning of industrial cooling systems, ensuring compliance and quality
* Supervising on-site teams, enforcing health & safety and contract standards
* Managing project resources, budgets, and cost control
* Identifying and resolving design challenges to ensure successful outcomes
Who They’re Looking For
* Project Engineering background, ideally within the manufacturing industry
* Intermediate Project Management experience with commercial exposure
* Strong people skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD
* Willingness to travel across the North of the UK.
* Full UK driving licence
