Job Description
* Assist with processing invoices and ensuring accurate data entry in the accounting system.
* Support the finance team with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
* Prepare and maintain financial records and reports as required.
* Assist in the preparation of payment runs and ensure timely processing.
* Handle queries related to accounts payable and receivable.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in an accounting or finance role within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Microsoft Excel. Microsoft 365 knowledge is a must!
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and teamwork.
