Overview
The Law School at the University of Huddersfield is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Law, as part of its ongoing growth and expansion of UG and PG programmes. The Law School has its own Moot Court, runs a pro-bono Legal Advice Clinic, and is establishing a new Centre for Law, Environment and Rights (CLEAR).
Responsibilities
1. Contribute to teaching in areas such as International Criminal Law, Mooting/Advocacy, Law of Evidence, International Human Rights, Law of Torts, Medical Law, or Mental Health Law.
2. Engage in research-led teaching and contribute to the next REF submission.
3. Support the development of innovative research methods and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
1. PhD in Law or equivalent, or near completion with submission expected within 6 months.
2. Teaching qualification or Fellowship of Advance HE (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
3. Applications from legal practitioners are encouraged.
