We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse. You will be required to confidently support surgical patients with a range of surgical conditions and needs. You will focus on engaging with colleagues, adapting, and being flexible to the complex nature of Ward 5, where nursing standards could be even better. If you are a strong, caring, and compassionate individual who works well under pressure and wants to deliver quality care, then please apply.
This role covers long days, nights, and weekends.
You will be fully supported during your transition with supernumerary status and additional training tailored to meet the requirements of the ward for the delivery of safe and high-quality care.
Responsibilities include:
1. The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
2. Ensure that agreed standards of nursing practice within the ward area are maintained.
3. Ensure that all Trust, Divisional, and Ward & Safety Policies are adhered to.
4. Support patients and the team as a team player.
5. Have a holistic approach to the delivery of nursing care.
We want to attract the best and brightest people to work with us, and that means we will look after you from the moment you apply for a role at the Trust and throughout your career with us. Our staff are central to everything we do, and we believe that investing in you is crucial if we want to enable you to reach your full potential.
