Assistant Finance Manager | High - Growth B2B Data Analytics Start-up | London/Hybrid Up to £45k Study Support Harmonic are excited to be partnering with a fast-scaling data analytics business in their search for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their growing finance team. With a strong B2B model and increased investment from a top-tier PE firm the business is entering a pivotal growth phase. This role offers the opportunity to work with senior leadership while playing a key part in shaping the company's next stage of development. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking for clear progression within a growing business. The Role: This is a broad position that involves partnering with the Finance Manager on management accounts and working directly with investors and directors. This role extends beyond solely technical accounting and requires an entrepreneurial and commercially focused finance mentality. Responsibilities: Assisting with month-end close and prepare first draft management accounts to agreed timelines Recording day-to-day financial transactions (ideally with Xero) Support reconciliations and adjustments covering events, subscriptions and deferred revenue Assist with payroll processing Prepare and support UK and international VAT returns Contribute to finance systems and reporting improvements What we need to see (essential): Part Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Experience working in a scale-up or fast paced environment Strong management accounts knowledge Confident with Excel and Xero Nice to have (bonus skills): Background in Tech, Consumer goods, Ecommerce, B2B, or Subscription Services Investor & Director relations Location: South London (Hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 from home) Start Date: Early March At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
