Job Description Job Title: Sales Estimator — Windows, Doors & Glazing Location: Northamptonshire Salary: Competitive, based on experience Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (with occasional flexibility for appointments) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to provide accurate, competitive estimates for a wide range of bespoke windows, doors, conservatories, and associated products. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to ensure every quotation reflects high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for windows, doors, conservatories, repairs, soffits, fascias, guttering, verandas, and other related products. • Measure, calculate, and verify project specifications using plans, drawings, and site visits where necessary. • Liaise with sales and installation teams to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility. • Maintain records of quotations, pricing, and project details. • Provide guidance to customers on product options, designs, and technical requirements. • Monitor costs and margins, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality. • Support the team in responding to enquiries and providing expert advice. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sales Estimator in windows, doors, conservatories, or glazing-related industries. • Strong technical knowledge of fenestration products and installation requirements. • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with estimating software is advantageous. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
