This is a full-time, long-term supply role where you will be delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, helping students prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons
* Adapt your teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
* Create a positive, focused learning environment
* Support students' progress towards GCSE and A-Level exams
* Monitor and assess pupil performance, giving regular feedback
* Work closely with the Head of Maths and wider team
* Support revision and intervention sessions when needed
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and effort
* Attend parents' evenings if required and contribute to school life
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
* Be confident teaching Maths at GCSE, and ideally A-Level
* Hold QTS or a Maths degree with relevant teaching experience
* Be confident supporting students with additional needs (SEN)
* Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be flexible, professional, and a team player
