Overview
Our Public Sector Audit graduate programme gives you the opportunity to work on audits for government departments and public bodies. You will learn how public money is spent, ask critical questions and support clients in managing their finances responsibly.
What you will do
* Work with a varied client portfolio that includes large local public bodies such as Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and the Metropolitan Police.
* Carry out hands‑on audit work, visit client sites and perform testing to verify financial accuracy and identify risks.
* Analyse financial statements, review internal controls and understand how clients manage money, risk and operations.
* Use data and technology to spot trends, identify anomalies and support findings – including automated interrogation of financial information systems.
* Develop professional judgement, keep up to date with regulations and build relationships with mentors and experts across the firm.
* Progress towards the ACA qualification with dedicated study leave, expert tuition and all course fees covered.
