Job Description
3. Maintaining and improving the performance of all plant machinery.
4. Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
5. Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical equipment.
6. Performing routine checks and upgrades to machinery and systems.
7. Ensuring all machinery is safe and fit for purpose.
8. Supporting other members of the engineering and manufacturing team.
9. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
10. Reporting any faults or issues to the relevant department promptly.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Fitter should have:
11. A recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
12. Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
13. Knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally hydraulics and pneumatic
14. Coming with welding and fabrication experience
15. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
16. A commitment to health and safety standards.
What's on Offer
17. An estimated salary range of £39,366.72 + overtime.
18. Working Days/Backs on rotation, every 5th weekend working Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm - paid as overtime
19. 28 days holiday pay inclusive of statutory days.
20. Over time paid at time and a half and double time.
21. Use of a company vehicle to carry out day to day duties.
