* Job Title: Multi Drop Delivery Driver
* Department: Transport
* Location: Swansea Service Centre
* Reports To: Driver Team Manager
* Salary: £34,045.44 per annum
* Hours of work: 48 hours per week (Monday – Friday plus Saturday morning)
Job Purpose
To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines.
All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP – REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs, with due regard to other road users.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, including lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
* Report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
* Maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle and keep it clean.
* Ensure sufficient fuel for the day's work.
* Maintain vehicle security at all times.
* Check all orders on dropsheets and ensure all are loaded correctly.
* Collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins, and return them safely to the branch.
* Maintain housekeeping standards.
* Deal promptly and correctly with damages or breakages, especially for HazChem items.
* Maintain a smart appearance at all times.
* Help maintain good customer relations.
* Participate in other duties as defined by management.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* A full driving license relevant to the vehicle.
* Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
* Update fleet records for license changes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent customer care skills.
* Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
Desirable
* Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience.
* Route planning experience.

* Work independently and on own initiative.
* Monitor vehicle condition and report faults or damages.
* Decide vehicle is not roadworthy if serious faults are present.
Additional Information
Drivers must maintain a smart appearance due to external customer interaction.
Manual Handling
