Manager – Accounting & Finance Recruitment

City of London

Hybrid, 4.5 day work week

Competitive basic salary

Uncapped personal commission (up to 42.5%) + team override

Investigo are market leaders in recruiting into multiple specialisms, and this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead and scale a high‑performing Accounting & Finance recruitment team. You will play a pivotal role in the growth of the Accounting & Finance division, working closely with senior leadership and leveraging a wider Specialist Recruitment Practice with deep client relationships across the UK.

You'll be joining Investigo, - where The IN Group started 22 years ago. This is a unique opportunity to lead an existing and profitable team of experienced recruitment consultants within the A&F space. You will also be a part of The IN Group's growth as we move towards our next wealth creation event.

You will join a profitable and established function with existing retained and contingent relationships, and you will have a clear progression pathway towards Associate Director and beyond.

The role

As Manager in the Investigo Accounting & Finance Practice, you will lead from the front: running your own 360 recruitment desk while taking ownership for the performance, development and strategy of a growing Accounting & Finance recruitment team. You will have an in‑depth understanding of the Accounting & Finance recruitment market, using this to shape business unit strategy, drive revenue growth and build scalable systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

* Owning and growing a profitable 360 Accounting & Finance recruitment desk across the UK, delivering consistent revenue and high‑quality delivery for clients and candidates.
* Working closely with senior management to set and execute the broader business unit strategy, including go‑to‑market plans and growth opportunities.
* Developing and executing candidate generation strategies, building a best‑in‑class pipeline of Accounting & Finance talent for yourself and your team.
* Proactively winning new business, cross‑selling across TIG brands and deepening key client relationships so your team is seen as a market‑leading partner.
* Effectively managing P&L, tracking revenue and profit against budget, and ensuring your team meets and exceeds minimum charter and promotional criteria.
* Creating scalable, future‑proofed ways of working through systems, processes and data usage so the team can grow sustainably.
* Demonstrating the ability to sell retained and senior hiring solutions, including SOW and multi‑hire campaigns.
* Ensuring compliance with data protection laws and best practice in all day‑to‑day recruitment activity.

People leadership

You’ll be managing an existing Accounting and Finance recruitment team who are all experienced and high performing 360 consultants. You will also have the chance to grow the team further, expanding your current remit and service lines. You will also play a key role in the wider TIG (The IN Group) community, contributing to ESG, DEI and wellbeing initiatives and role‑modelling Investigo’s values.

In this role you will:

* Manage a team of Senior and Principal Consultants, helping them reach and exceed their potential.
* Set clear goals and development plans, provide ongoing coaching, and create a positive, professional, trusting team environment.
* Communicate with clarity, conviction and enthusiasm, ensuring fairness of opportunity for all.
* Actively participate in and promote group ESG, DEI and wellbeing initiatives across your team and the wider TIG network.
* Demonstrate openness to learning, continuously evolving your own leadership and market skillset.

What we are looking for

This role is suited to an experienced Accounting & Finance Recruitment leader who has progressed into, or is ready for, a Manager position leading a 360 team. You combine strong personal billing capability with the commercial and people skills needed to build and scale a successful function.

You will:

* Have significant 360 recruitment experience, ideally 6+ years within Accounting & Finance, with a proven track record of high performance.
* Bring in‑depth understanding of the Accounting & Finance recruitment market and how industry trends impact clients, candidates and your team’s objectives.
* Demonstrate experience (or clear potential) in managing, coaching and developing recruiters to hit team revenue and profit targets.
* Be ambitious, driven and motivated to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment where you can build something of your own.
* Have excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism and the resilience and tenacity to find solutions when things do not go to plan.

Career progression and training

You will join with a clear pathway from Manager through to Associate Director, with structured criteria and leadership development to support your growth. You will have access to both desk‑specific recruitment training and dedicated leadership development modules (LEAD) to enhance your management capability.

Support and development includes:

* 1‑2‑1 training and coaching with our inhouse L&D team and leadership team.
* In‑person, bespoke training programmes tailored to your market and desk.
* Online learning modules to bolster your recruitment, commercial and leadership skills.
* Leadership development through LEAD modules as you progress towards Associate Director.
