Role: Senior Procurement Officer
Location: London
Duration: 3-month contract
Rate: £ per day (Umbrella)
The Senior Procurement Officer will lead procurement activity for the Training and Learning & Development subcategory.
What you'll be doing:
1. Leading end-to-end tenders.
2. Contract management (variations, performance issues, KPI meetings).
3. Strategic review of fire safety procurement processes (e.g., potential frameworks)
4. Development of a Fire Safety Procurement Strategy to improve pipeline efficiency.
5. Commercial Contract Management of the Future of Fire Fighter Training contract
About you:
6. End-to-End Procurement Experience
7. Public Sector Procurement experience.
8. Confident in managing tenders independently.
9. Familiarity with public sector procurement processes.
10. Contract Management Expertise
11. Stakeholder Engagement & Project Delivery
12. Strong communication and organisational skills.
13. Ability to guide stakeholders and ensure compliance.
14. Knowledge of the Procurement Act
15. Completion of Government Commercial Function (GCF) training preferred.
16. CIPS Qualification
