Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader

Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £14.86 per hour

Main Duties
1. To assist and support the FM in leading the site team in delivering the exceptional every-day
2. Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the Team Leader position and lead a team of cleaners.
3. Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
4. Ensure all equipment are kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
5. Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
6. Be responsible, cleaning, security and safety within the school premises and grounds.
7. Lead the cleaning of slippery floors, spillages, bodily fluids, and other emergency cleaning.
8. Monitor all helpdesk jobs issued and address/close within assigned timelines and SLAs.
9. Act as key holder and unlock/lock buildings to provide access to relevant parties as required.
10. Be responsible for internal and grounds areas to be free from litter.
11. Act as first attendee to all helpdesk jobs and resolve or feedback requirements.
12. Lead the set-up of rooms for the use of Examinations / school functions etc and return to usual lay out following the functions.
13. Ensure access is provided for contractors and the contractors are always escorted if relevant DBS clearance is not available. RAMS are checked and correct
14. Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
15. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
16. To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.
17. To understand the payroll system and requirements and be I.T literate.
