Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join as our Executive Medical Director and be at the forefront of clinical transformation driving innovation and blueprint models of care. You will contribute to the visible leadership of the organisation, ensuring a strong focus on integrated neighbourhood care and a commitment to community and public health working with patients with complex lives ensuring the voice of lived experience is woven through and that every contact is patient-centred, trauma informed and recovery-oriented.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in a senior clinical leadership role within the NHS, public health, or third sector at Director or deputy Director level. You'll need a proven track record of strategic leadership in complex, multi-disciplinary environments including working across complex healthcare systems such as Health and Justice, Primary Care, Substance Misuse and/or sexual health services. You will be a values driven leader who is able to inspire and motivate others as well as skill in establishing positive relationships and mutual respect with people at all levels, both within and outside Spectrum.
Job responsibilities
You will hold a full and current GMC registration and be able to demonstrate evidence of achievement as a Medical Leader, with experience in quality assurance, patient safety and risk management systems.
There is a requirement to attend the weekly Executive meeting and monthly Board meetings.

Qualifications
* Registration with the GMC, with a licence to practice
* Qualified Medical professional
Experience and Knowledge
* Extensive experience within a Medical discipline
* Evidence of significant experience, and understanding of, the work of NHS regulators and inspection regimes.
* Demonstrable evidence of achievement as a Medical Leader.
* Abreast of professional developments in keeping with this professional leadership role and maintain networks necessary for the role.
* Demonstrable knowledge of health service management, project management and change management.
