Senior Manual Machinist:
We currently have an exciting opportunityfor a Senior Manual Machinist to join a fantastic manufacturing company inFareham.
Introduction
The primary role of the Senior Manual Machinist will be to produceparts within specification to component drawings, using technical expertise, written procedures (SOP) and quality measurement equipment. You'll have an excellent understand and working knowing of Manual Machining and will provide support to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
* Setting and running manual lathes, manual mills (vertical and horizontal) and workshop equipment including handheld / fixed cutting machinery including Band and Circular saws, grinders and sandersand ensure allequipment is used in accordance with Risk Assessments and good practice.
* Participates in 5S methodology and ensures work areas are clean, tidy and health and safetycompliant
* Support theProduction Supervisorwith the training and development of the Machining Technicians.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings includingGD&T requirements, work instructions, SOPs, COSHH assessments and RAs.
