This role can be located in Crawley or Winnersh with travel to other locations as required. This is a hands-on, operational HR leadership role supporting a wide-ranging portfolio of businesses, including Mission Systems, Avionics, and elements of Interiors, across multiple UK sites and select international locations. The successful candidate will bring proven HR leadership experience and will be able to hit the ground running to provide immediate value. This role requires a confident HR leader capable of managing complexity, ambiguity, and broad stakeholder relationships while leading and developing a high-performing HR team. What You Will Do: Lead and manage a small team of HR professionals, delivering effective HR support across multiple businesses and sites. Partner with senior leaders to drive organisational design, transformation, talent management, and employee engagement. Support employees across the UK and international locations (e.g. Spain, Belgium), partnering with third-party providers for onboarding and compliance. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on performance, development, and career progression. Travel to other locations, primarily in the UK, as required. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in HR or related discipline Significant experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in a complex matrix and multi-site environment Strong business acumen and ability to operate independently across multiple geographies Qualifications We Prefer: Deep knowledge of HR fundamentals and workforce planning. Highly adaptable and agile to manage and influence complex and evolving priorities. Strong strategic, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
