About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual learning needs. Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities. Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver effective support strategies. Requirements Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of classroom management strategies. To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should: Have the right to work in the UK. Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
