Job Description
As Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in strengthening the finance function as the business looks to modernise, improve processes, and prepare for future growth.You'll work closely with the Finance Director, supporting financial management and leading the finance team. This role offers clear progression, with the potential to step into a more senior position.Key Responsibilities:
3. Full production of management accounts and financial reporting
4. Daily cashflow management for the group - with a particular focus on proactive debtor management to support payroll and operational needs
5. Managing, developing, and unifying an experienced finance team
6. Leading improvements in reporting processes, automation, and system deficiencies
7. Supporting the wider business with financial insight, cash management, and decision support
The Successful Applicant
About You:
8. You will be an active CIMA or ACCA studier or QBE
9. Stable, consistent career background with a focus on ownership and seeing things through
10. Strong team management skills - able to bring people together, motivate, and get the best out of experienced, long-standing team members
11. A self-starter with a hands-on approach - willing to roll up your sleeves, improve processes, and help modernise the finance function
12. A people person - approachable, down-to-earth, and aligned to the company's values of fairness, trust, and openness
