Are you a strategic leader with a passion for resilience and risk management? Zurich Insurance is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) business in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth, foster innovation, and create a lasting impact in the resilience landscape.
The Opportunity:
As the Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, UK, you will be at the forefront of developing and expanding our ZRS business, built on the strong foundation of our Core Risk Engineering (CRE) business. Reporting into the Global Head of ZRS, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a consistent and differentiated value proposition through our specialised Global Verticals:
1. Cyber Resilience Services
2. Climate Resilience Services
3. Core Risk Engineering (Property, Sustainable Energy, Casualty, and Supply Chain)
Your leadership will also maximise synergies with the Zurich Insurance Group (ZIG), particularly our Commercial Insurance Business, driving growth and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
4. Strategy Formulation and Execution: Develop and execute the ZRS strategy in the UK, aligning with growth and revenue objectives. Focus on customer relationships, identifying strategies for existing customers, and driving new customer growth. Understand profit and loss dynamics and leverage relevant levers for action.
5. Team Leadership and Technical Delivery: Manage UK-based teams of 150 people, ensuring technical delivery adheres to relevant standards. Foster a growth mindset and skill development within the team.
6. Partnerships and Customer Engagement: Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders within Zurich and in the open market. Build trust and synergy in ZRS’s business relationships with shared services.
7. Financial and Capacity Planning: Be accountable for financial planning, including sub-contractor relationships. Optimize capacity planning to meet business demands.
What are we looking for?
8. Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and projects.
9. Preferably experience in a business leadership role within the insurance or risk advisory industry.
10. Strategic thinking and the ability to develop long-term plans to enhance organizational resilience.
11. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
12. Experience in implementing and managing technological solutions to enhance resilience.
13. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
14. Ability to make informed decisions based on data and analysis.
