Fleet Vehcile Technician Required in Alton, Hampshire

Duties:
9. Servicing and maintaining fleet vehicles to ensure operational readiness
10. Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
11. Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring compliance standards
12. Attending breakdowns in the provided company van
13. Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
14. Supporting wider equipment such as trailers, generators, and welfare units
15. Keeping detailed records of work completed via workshop management systems
16. Assisting colleagues as needed and sharing technical knowledge
Requirements:
17. Proven experience as a mechanic or fleet technician with a strong understanding of vehicle systems
18. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent mechanical qualification or higher
19. Full UK driving licence required
20. Ability to fault-find accurately and solve problems effectively
21. Comfortable working on tools and taking ownership of repair jobs
22. Experience with commercial vehicles, trailers, or plant equipment is advantageous but not essential
