Overview
We are seeking motivated GPs to undertake Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) for Looked After Children (LAC) and Unaccompanied Asylum‑Seeking Young People (UASYP). This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by identifying unmet health needs early and supporting improved outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
The role involves delivering comprehensive, child‑centred assessments covering physical, emotional, and developmental health, contributing to Health Care Plans, and making appropriate referrals. You will work closely with multi‑agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive, child‑centred Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) for Looked After Children (LAC) and Unaccompanied Asylum‑Seeking Young People (UASYP).
* Contribute to Health Care Plans and make appropriate referrals.
* Work closely with multi‑agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Qualifications
* A strong understanding of safeguarding.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Full right to work in the UK. Please note that there is no sponsorship available for this role.
