Overview
We are looking for someone to coordinate change projects in our Acute & Crisis clinical services. This post will suit someone who has experience of working in the NHS, especially in older people services, community or acute mental health services, accommodation or care home pathways. The role may suit a clinician who would like the opportunity to develop their project management and organisational skills, in a stable and nurturing environment.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and who is a confident communicator. The role will require someone to be able to organise and present information frequently and coherently. The post holder will also be required to communicate with a range of people from the health, social care and commissioning sectors; as well as communicating a clear time frame for actions and assurances from these colleagues.
It is a fixed term opportunity ending on 31st March 2027, and so would suit someone looking for a secondment or development opportunity. You will report directly to the Service Director for Acute & Crisis Services, who will also provide initial coaching and direction in terms of project management in this context.

You will work closely with clinicians, financial accountants, Human Resources, Business Office, the Continuous Improvement Team; as well as with operational leaders in the Acute & Crisis Mental Health Directorate, in Oxleas Corporate Services and in the wider Health and Commissioning system in South East London. In that regard, it is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop existing interests and skills in the fields of operational leadership, project management and system working.

* The post holder will support with the project management and implementation of upcoming changes to services within the Directorate.
* Requirement to travel to Oxleas sites as needed across Bexley, Bromley & Greenwich.
* Ensuring a sound project and programme management approach underpins all activities.

* The post holder will provide monthly reports for project boards and senior leaders on the delivery of specific programmes of work

* Be responsible for identifying and prioritising issues or risks and escalate to the Director as appropriate
