Responsibilities and day-to-day activities
You will:
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
* Know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Assist Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication.
* Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.
* Ensure caring approach in all interactions, including showing how to use walking frames, supporting end-of-life meals, and communicating with residents’ families.
* Contribute to person-centered care planning and support for residents with dementia.

Person specification
Qualifications Essential: S/NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care desirable but not essential. Desirable: S/NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Job description and responsibilities (summary)
This is a full-time role working 38.5 hours from 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am. Full flexibility is required. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain high standards of care, deliver personalised care plans, administer medication, and maintain accurate records. Relevant qualifications include Level 2 Diploma/SN VQ in Adult Care with progression toward Level 3; experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care is desirable.
