Cobalt are partnering with a leading UK-based managing agent who are seeking an experienced and strategic Facilities Management Lead to take full accountability for the leadership and performance of our FM team. Joining a well-established (and growing) team, this role requires a seasoned professional with a proven ability to align facilities strategy with business objectives, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Define and drive the FM strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead KPI reporting, performance monitoring, and quarterly business reviews with Directors and Head of Department. Oversight and total facilities management of a portfolio of mixed-use properties Oversee preventive/reactive maintenance, supplier management, contract negotiations, and service provider performance. Manage onboarding of new assets, crisis response, business continuity, and adoption of smart building technologies. Take the lead on procurement and tendering processes. Ensure all properties meet legal and regulatory standards, with robust monitoring and reporting. Drive improvements in compliance ratings and workplace safety. Lead, coach, and develop internal and external teams. Establish clear KPIs, provide one-to-one support, and foster innovation and accountability.
