Job summary
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead the growth of Meredith’s Maids through B2B client acquisition and revenue generation .
This role is centred around building relationships, securing contracts, and consistently achieving monthly sales targets of £10,000+. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, converting leads, and developing long-term partnerships across sectors such as property management, estate agents, offices, and commercial clients.
Key responsibilities
* Proactively generate new B2B business opportunities through outreach, networking, and lead generation
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients
* Attend meetings, site visits, and presentations to convert leads into contracts
* Develop relationships with estate agents, property managers, landlords, and commercial businesses
* Consistently achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets of £10,000+
* Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
* Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales performance
* Identify opportunities for upselling additional services
* Represent Meredith’s Maids at networking events and industry opportunities
* Support wider marketing efforts where needed to drive inbound leads
Essential requirements
* Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
* Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Commercially driven with a results-focused mindset
* Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience within cleaning, facilities management, or property sectors
* Existing network within estate agents, landlords, or commercial clients
* Experience using CRM systems
