Mode Search is supporting an international luxury lifestyle brand in the search for a Head of Global Trade Marketing & Client Development. This strategic role is focused on driving global brand visibility and deepening client engagement across high-end retail environments and hospitality partners.



This is a full-time, in-office role based in Sloane Street, London. The position reports directly to the CEO and includes regular partner meetings across London throughout the week. The role will also require occasional international travel in support of global retail and marketing initiatives.



The Role


* Develop and execute the global trade marketing calendar, including seasonal campaigns, retail animations, product launches, and VIP client initiatives
* Manage and optimise the global trade marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and forecasting aligned with brand priorities
* Lead negotiations with retail partners to secure premium visibility, activation opportunities, and uphold brand presentation standards
* Design and implement CRM-driven client development strategies to enhance loyalty, identify key client segments, and support boutique teams in high-touch engagement
* Coordinate with Retail and Digital departments to ensure a seamless, 360° client journey across all touchpoints
* Support wholesale accounts in elevating brand presence through targeted marketing and conversion-driven activations
* Collaborate with Sales, PR, and Creative teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across physical and digital platforms
* Track and evaluate the performance of all marketing and client development initiatives to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement



Requirements


* 5–8+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or brand activation within luxury goods (home décor, accessories or fine jewellery,)
* Demonstrated success in client development and CRM-based strategies within flagship stores and key international markets
* Experience collaborating with premium department stores and renowned independent retailers
* Proven ability to engage high-net-worth individuals through curated experiences and exclusive events
* Excellent negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to external partnerships
* Strong brand sensitivity and creative storytelling capabilities
* Skilled in cross-functional project management across internal teams and external agencies
* Experience in budget planning and cost management
* Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Luxury Brand Management, Sales, or a related field
