The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Teaching and Learning Administrator to join our dynamic team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, ensuring a seamless student experience.

As the first point of contact for students and staff, you'll manage essential student lifecycle activities, support academic colleagues, and contribute to the smooth running of our teaching programmes.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and monitor student attendance records
* Support module selection and changes
* Coordinate Extenuating Circumstances processes
* Act as Library Liaison for the department
* Provide front-line support for student and staff queries
* Assist with induction, open days, and recruitment events
* Maintain Moodle course and student hub pages
* Ensure accurate student record-keeping and data quality
* Collaborate with colleagues and support team development


What We're Looking For

Essential:

* Educated to A-level and degree level (or equivalent experience)
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
* Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
* Experience in student administration within Higher Education

Desirable:

* Familiarity with systems like Portico, CMIS, Moodle, and Turnitin
