We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estates Service Cleaner to work for our client in London and surrounding areas.
Job Purpose
The Estate Services Cleaner plays a key frontline role in delivering a high-quality cleaning service across communal internal and external estate areas. The role ensures that environments are clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents, while also acting as a visible and approachable representative of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas, including:
o Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing
o Litter picking and maintaining tidy surroundings
* Clean and maintain refuse areas
* Sweep and disinfect bin stores, refuse chutes, and bin areas
* Perform deep cleaning tasks when required
* Use equipment such as jet washers and steam cleaners (training provided)
* Provide team support:
o Act as a point of contact, helping or directing queries appropriately
* Follow all safety procedures and use provided PPE
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Requirements
* Valid UK manual driving licence
* Ability to undertake physically demanding work
* Willingness to travel between sites as required
* Previous cleaning experience
* Basic understanding of health & safety practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
