This multi-academy trust has grown significantly in the last couple of years, now consisting of 10 schools and, with further growth plans, it is important that the right staff are appointed to ensure the continued success and growth of the trust. With a split of primary and secondary schools and an excellent reputation, the school has an excellent presence across North East Manchester, known for the strong focus they put on improving the lives of their pupils and contributing to the wider community. The IT team is well established at the trust, with a long-standing Head of IT who has ambitious plans and with a team of dedicated and forward-thinking IT professionals, this is an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager to join the trust and be responsible for the Rochdale hub of schools.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure across 1 secondary school and 3 primary schools based in East Manchester, working with your wider IT team. Based at the secondary school which is in Middleton, you will be fully responsible for delivering a high level of IT support to end users, therefore working closely with the leadership team and staff to ensure that teaching and learning is enhanced through the provision of an excellent IT service.
