This growing consultancy is delivering high-impact solutions to the UK’s most complex national security challenges. They’re now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape and maintain the infrastructure that underpins critical projects.
* Location: Bristol, Cheltenham, or Manchester (3-4 days office-based)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments.
* Building, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters, alongside tools like Docker and Helm.
* Automating processes for build, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Developing policies for compliance, security, and disaster recovery.
* Driving optimisation for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
* Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team.
Main Skills Needed
* Strong background in DevOps with hands-on cloud experience.
* Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and related technologies.
* Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
* Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
* Strong stakeholder communication skills.
* Eligible for high-level UK security clearance (British passport + 5 years residency).
