Due to our ongoing development within our Security Department, DWM are now seeking a Senior Security Engineer who can demonstrate their leadership skills and experience, and offer support and guidance to their subordinates to ensure our Engineers can deliver to the highest of standards.
Primary Objective of the role of Senior Security Engineer
To carry out and manage reactive and planned security works to all internal and external clients, in various sectors including commercial, domestic and education.
The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for providing these services in an effective and efficient manner; and within established time limits.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both IPCCTV and DAC installation works and be looking for the opportunity to develop their career into a more senior position, or be a Senior Engineer with proven management experience who is seeking a new challenge in a forward thinking and dynamic company.

Qualifications & Skills
Essential
* Proven experience in security installations
* Self-Motivation, along with the ability to work as part of a team
* Strong Leadership Skills
* The ability to think laterally - finding an appropriate solution to fulfil an application
* The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
* Competent to a high level of computer literacy
* The ability to work to the highest quality standards ensuring attention to detail at all times
* The ability to comply with safety rules and regulations of site working
* Good communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Full/Clean UK Driving Licence
* ECS/CSCS Card or equivalent
Desirable
* NVQ or equivalent in Security Installations
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure
* IPAF Licence
* PASMA Licence
* Site Supervisor Certified
* Microsoft Office Skills
Dimensions of the role
* To install of a variety of security solutions including; IPCCTV and Door Access Control
* Fault Finding, testing and commissioning
* Containment installation including trunking, conduit, tray and basket work
* Liaising with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of works
* Professional and effective communication with management, colleagues and customers
* Working in various environments (internal/external/working at heights)
Description of the role
* Installation of commercial, domestic and education requirements
* Repairs, Servicing and Maintenance
* Leading a team of Engineers and liaising with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of works
* Management of task allocation, time frames and workflow
* Carry out works to a high standard and in a competent manner, meeting customer satisfaction
* Contribute to the achievement of project targets
* Provide the highest level of customer service
* To work together with the team to resolve technical issues
* Liaising with other internal departments, clients and contractors
* To utilise all equipment correctly and ensuring compliance with Regulations at all times
* Understand, interpret and update schematics and drawings/documentation
* Provide regular updates to the Project Team/Manager on project development
* Forecasting and ordering of materials in liaison with the Project/Purchasing Team/Manager
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork including job packs and delivery notes and the maintaining of accurate records of the onsite installation
* Ensure photographic evidence of install is taken and downloaded on completion of jobs
* Ensure that any required qualifications for your position remain valid and to ensure that any necessary training is arranged and undertaken within the specified timescales
* To attend meetings, training sessions, health and awareness training and meetings i.e. 'tool box talks' and conferences as required
* To act at all times in accordance with the Company's rules, policies and procedures including the Company's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
* Responsibility for Company Equipment including; personal issue items, shared plant items, company vehicles and 'hired in' equipment
* To wear Company attire including; staff uniform and all appropriate PPE
* Other ad hoc duties as may be required appropriate to the post
