Overview

Residential Conveyancer – Salisbury – 2 years PQE plus. Location: Salisbury Office (hybrid / Flexible). Type of Role: Full-time. Salary: £35,000 to £60,000 plus bonus.

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established regional law firm currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer who is eager to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.


The Role

This is a client-facing and autonomous position, offering the opportunity to manage a full range of residential conveyancing matters. Responsibilities include:

* Handling Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases
* Managing New Build transactions, Remortgages, Transfers of Equity, and Shared Ownership
* Conducting ID checks, verifying source of funds, and managing gifted deposits
* Issuing contracts and managing mortgage redemptions
* Ordering and reporting on searches, titles, leases, and management packs
* Exchanging contracts and progressing matters to completion
* Collaborating with other conveyancers to support departmental growth


Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to an experienced Residential Conveyancer with:

* Proven experience managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Commercial awareness and interest in business development
* Familiarity with case management systems and online platforms (e.g. SDLT, Land Registry)
* Commitment to client care and professional standards
* Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach


Working Arrangements
