Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: £30,000 per annum (plus benefits and progression)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
About the Company
An innovative robotics and motion control engineering company based in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join its growing technical team.
The business develops advanced robotic platforms, motion control systems, and high-performance electronics for a range of industrial and automation applications. With a small but highly skilled multidisciplinary team, they design and build everything from the ground up — including PCBs, control systems, software, and mechanical assemblies.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company working at the forefront of robotics and embedded systems, where you’ll gain exposure to full-cycle engineering in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Electronics Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in high-frequency, high-performance motion control systems. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers across electronics, embedded software, and mechanical design to bring innovative robotic systems to life.
From day one, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on live projects and see your designs come to fruition in real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
*
Design and develop PCBs for robotic and motion control systems
*
Work on digital electronics design and embedded controller integration
*
Assist with microcontroller programming and circuit validation
*
Support prototyping, testing, and fault-finding activities
*
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers on R&D and production projects
*
Participate in full product development lifecycle from concept to delivery
About You
You’ll be a hands-on engineer who loves to build and create. The team is looking for someone who is technically curious, proactive, and eager to learn — not afraid to get stuck into real hardware design.
Essential Requirements:
*
A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Robotics
*
Strong academic record with solid fundamentals in circuit design

Experience with PCB layout tools (e.g. Altium, KiCad, Eagle)
*
Some knowledge of microcontrollers and C/C++ programming
*
Practical, problem-solving mindset — ideally demonstrated through personal or university projects
*
Full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
*
Able to work from the Bristol office
Desirable
*
Exposure to motor control, robotics, or automation projects
*
Understanding of analogue electronics or power systems
*
Previous internship or project-based experience in electronics design
What’s on Offer
*
£30,000 starting salary
*
Discretionary profit-sharing bonus
*
Flexible, outcome-focused working hours
*
Career progression in a rapidly growing robotics business
Why Join
