Overview
Sanctuary Supported Living is hiring for the Local Service Manager (CQC Registered Manager) at Clover Court, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft, NR32 1RB. The service provides CQC-regulated care and support to people with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries in 20 self-contained flats. We’re a not-for-profit organisation delivering personalised housing, care, and support services across England. Responsibilities
* CQC Registration as Manager
* Lead the overall delivery of the service through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
* Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
* Oversee safe and compliant medication management across the service
* Manage tenancy agreements and support residents with housing-related needs
* Lead and develop a motivated staff team to deliver high-quality care
* Work closely with internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
* Oversee the service’s financial performance and manage the budget
* Take responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experience
* Proven experience in a managerial role within an Adult Social Care service
* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience managing a CQC-regulated environment (preferred)
* Experience managing accommodation-based services
* Strong computer skills (electronic care planning, Word, Excel)
* Clear, confident communication across all levels; ability to build trust with residents, staff and external stakeholders
* Solution-focused, resilient, and capable of driving continuous improvement
* Compassionate, hands-on approach to support
* Experience supporting service users to maximise personal development
